Plain version: use the site honestly, do not resell what you buy, and we will treat you the same way. The rest of this is the detail.
1. Who you are dealing with
187 Dark Knights ("187DK", "we", "us") operates 187dk.com and sells software, scripts, and related services. We are based in Canada, and these terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and Canada.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 to hold an account. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
- Accounts are approved by an admin. We can refuse, suspend, or remove an account at our discretion.
- You are responsible for your password and anything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
- Do not impersonate anyone. Handles and display names that copy staff, the company, or another member will be changed or removed.
- One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
3. What you can and cannot post
Everything you post — drops, replies, crew content, messages — stays yours. You keep ownership. By posting it here you give us permission to display and store it so the site can work.
Do not post:
- Anything illegal, or anything that helps someone do something illegal
- Content that harasses, threatens, or targets a person or group
- Sexual content involving minors, or any sexualisation of minors — this results in an immediate permanent ban and a report to the relevant authorities
- Malware, exploits, or code intended to damage systems
- Other people's private information
- Work you do not have the rights to, including cracked or leaked scripts from anyone — us or otherwise
We can remove anything and ban anyone for breaking these rules. We do not owe an explanation, though we usually give one.
4. What you buy
Products in the store are licensed, not sold. When you buy something you get a licence to use it, under these conditions:
- The licence is for you or your organisation, on the number of servers your licence allows.
- You may modify it for your own use.
- You may not resell, redistribute, sub-license, leak, or publish it — modified or not.
- You may not remove or defeat licence checks, or share your licence key.
- Licence keys are tied to a person or company and to specific servers. Sharing a key is visible to us and will get it revoked.
Break these and the licence ends immediately, with no refund. We may also revoke every other licence you hold.
5. Membership tiers
Tiers run through Patreon and are billed by Patreon under their terms, not ours. Cancelling with Patreon removes your tier here — usually within minutes, occasionally up to a day. Anything you bought outright stays yours regardless of tier.
6. Services and contracts
Custom work is agreed separately in writing before it starts. Nothing on this site is an offer or a binding quote until we have both agreed terms, scope, and price.
7. What we do not promise
We work hard on this and we stand behind it, but honestly: the site and everything on it are provided "as is". We do not promise it will be available without interruption, free of every bug, or fit for a purpose we have not discussed with you.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected with this site or our products is limited to what you have actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending it
You can close your account whenever you like — ask us and we will do it. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
If we end your account for breaking the rules, you do not get a refund. If we end it for any other reason, we will refund anything you have paid for and not yet received.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If we change something that materially affects you, we will say so on the site and update the date at the top. Carrying on using the site after that means you accept the new version.
10. Getting hold of us
Anything unclear, message us. We would rather answer a question than have someone guess.
